STRATFORD – The Auburndale volleyball team was pushed to five games before pulling out a 3-2 victory over Stratford in a Marawood Conference South Division match Tuesday at Stratford High School.
Auburndale finishes the conference season with a 4-2 mark, while Stratford ends up 3-3.
Auburndale won 22-25, 25-21, 25-11, 17-25, 15-5.
Shannon Yahnke had 14 kills, Taylor Gotz added eight kills and eight digs, Jenna Peplinski had 21 digs, and Sydney Schmutzer had 35 assists for the Apaches.
Stratford’s statistics were not provided.
Both teams will compete in Marawood Conference crossover matches on Thursday. Opponents will be determined by the final conference standings.
