SPENCER – The Spencer volleyball team will be playing for a regional title after sweeping Neillsville 3-0 in a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal on Tuesday at Spencer High School.
The Rockets won 25-11, 25-17, 25-18, to move on to the regional final on Saturday against Auburndale. The match will be played at Spencer High School starting at 7 p.m.
Macie Weber had 10 kills and three blocks, Marisa Johnson had eight kills and 24 digs, Liz Endreas added eight kills and Brooke Kettleborough led the Rockets with 34 assists.
“We really put the pressure on them tonight,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “We served and attacked well all night. Hopefully we can carry the momentum into Saturday.”
