Rudolph, Estrict power UW-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball past UW-Baraboo/Sauk County

MARSHFIELD – Covon Rudolph had a season-high 25 points and Joseph Estrict added 22, with both grabbing nine rebounds to lead the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball team to a 97-93 victory over UW-Baraboo/Sauk County in a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference matchup Monday night at the Marauder Gym.

The difference came in shooting, as the Marauders shot 43.6 percent (34 of 78), while holding Baraboo to 36.5 percent (31 of 85).

Rudolph hit 9 of 15 shots and was 6 of 9 at the free throw line. He also grabbed three offensive rebounds.

Hunter Busse added 17 points, and Brandon Woodall added nine points and dished out 10 assists for UW-Marshfield (3-3, 2-2 Wisconsin Collegiate Conference).

The Marauders are off until Nov. 29 when they play at UW-Rock County in Janesville.
