SPENCER – Spencer shot just 9 of 38 from the field and dropped its second-straight game to start the season, losing 53-29 to Edgar in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Spencer High School.

Sydney Kind had nine points and Macie Weber added six for the Rockets.

Tiana Borchardt had 22 points for Edgar (2-1) to lead all scorers.

Spencer (0-2, 0-1 Cloverbelt Conference East Division) hosts Owen-Withee on Friday.
