SPARTA – Marshfield’s Pat Hayes shot a 79 to tie for fourth place on Saturday at the Singh Grewal Memorial Golf Tournament at River Run Golf Course.
The Tigers shot a 343 to tie for fifth place out of 11 Division 1 teams at the tournament.
Jake Plank had an 84, Mike Field shot an 89 and Brandon Brown had a 91 to round out the Tigers’ scores.
Middleton’s Mitch Johnson won medalist honors with a 75 to help his team to the team title (310).
Marshfield and Stevens Point play at Rhinelander in a Wisconsin Valley Conference triangular on Tuesday. The Tigers begin their WVC round-robin on Friday at Wausau West.
