Three players scored 21 points or more to lead Rose Bowl to a 109-103 win over Smazel’s Hunters Choice in a shootout Sunday, Jan. 4, during Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League play.
Cain Trunkel had 27 points, A.J. Rasmussen added 26 and Lou Janssen had 21 for Rose Bowl in the win. Brian Bartnik had 26 points for Smazel’s.
In other action Jan. 4:
*Marawood Construction defeated A&B Process Systems 72-63. Mike Kupfer led Marawood with 22 points.
*Kizzy & Sue’s Bar & Grill beat USBancorp 84-76. Neil Weiler topped Kizzy & Sue’s with 20 points.
*Davis Auto got 25 points from Kyle Davis to beat The Shack 68-55. Marshal Lehman had 20 points for The Shack.
*Arby’s had the top scoring total of the night as it whipped Country Wireless 113-80. Jeremy Bulgrin had 39 points and Mack Scheppler added 30 for Arby’s. Adam Aschenbrenner had 28 points for Country Wireless.
*Resource Recovery defeated Marshfield Country Club 89-81. Chris Klimpke was the top scorer with 23 points for MCC.
