EAU CLAIRE – Jared Boyle and Ben Reigel each shot nine-hole rounds of 40 to tie for medalist honors and lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys golf team to a victory at a seven-team Cloverbelt Conference golf meet Monday at Hickory Hills Golf Course.
Columbus shot a team total of 169 to beat Osseo-Fairchild, which shot a 177. Fall Creek was third with a 178 and Neillsville had a 179 to finish fourth.
Tyler Mancl shot a 44 and Jordan Derfus and Collin Levande each shot 45s to round out the scoring for the Dons.
Columbus Catholic returns to action with another Cloverbelt meet Thursday at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Cadott.
