GREEN BAY – The 2015 WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament was held March 12-14 at the Resch Center.
The WIAA celebrated the 40th annual girls tournament, which ended Saturday with five championship games.
Barneveld defended its Division 5 state title, beating Wisconsin Rapids Assumption 59-43. It was the third-straight year those two schools faced off in the D-5 title game, with Assumption winning in 2013.
Cuba City also won its second title in a row, knocking off Fall Creek 56-43 in Division 4.
Also capturing titles were Milwaukee Divine Savior Holy Angels (Division 1), Milwaukee Pius XI (Division 2) and Whitewater (Division 3).
