MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield baseball team split a nonconference doubleheader with Middleton on Saturday at Hackman Field.
The Tigers lost the opener 8-1 before coming back to win the second game 5-4.
In the win, Jack Donahue tossed a complete game to earn the victory, and Sam Klein won it for the Tigers with an RBI, walk-off single with the bases loaded in the seventh inning.
Marshfield (5-6 overall) hosts Wisconsin Rapids in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Hackman Field. The game will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com.
