WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Michael Josephson shot an 81 and Pat Hayes had an 83 as Marshfield finished sixth at the second leg of the Wisconsin Valley Conference boys golf tournament on Tuesday at The Ridges Golf Course.
Marshfield finished with a 340 and remains in fifth place with five legs to go in the tournament.
Wisconsin Rapids won the meet Tuesday with a 318 on its home course and moved ahead of Wausau West in the overall standings.
Larry Wetzel of D.C. Everest was the meet medalist, shooting a 74, with Wisconsin Rapids’ Aaron Bravick second with a 76.
Mike Field had an 85 and Jake Plank had a 91 to round out Marshfield’s scoring.
The third leg of the tournament is Friday at Wausau Country Club.
