LOYAL – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic softball team were no-hit in the first game and had just five in the second, losing a Cloverbelt Conference East Division doubleheader to Loyal 11-1 and 21-4 on Tuesday.
Olivia Larson had a hit and three RBIs and Melissa Ptak walked three times and scored two runs in Game 2 for the Dons (2-6, 2-5 Cloverbelt East).
Elizabeth Manlick had a double and Haley Orella, Victoria Dieringer and Abby Gotz added singles for Columbus in the second game.
Columbus plays at Spencer on Friday.
