The Marshfield U14 softball team took second place in the ASA Class B U14 Northern Nationals in Wausau on July 31-Aug. 2. The Marshfield 14U softball team competed in the ASA Class B 14U Northern Nationals tournament in Wausau on July 31-Aug. 2 and finished in second place with a 10-2 overall record.

Marshfield won seven-straight elimination games before losing in the finals to Hortonville 7-4.

A total of 40 teams from seven different states competed in the tournament.

Team members are Rhiannon Corozolla, Kiana Weiler, Madelyn Swanson, Sarah Engedal, Cassidy Van Der Leest, Tiffany Meinders, Baileigh Johnson, Courtney Kaiser, Madeline Mews, Macey Kilty, Jenna Jakobi and McKenzie Ford. The team is coached by Scott Swanson, Ryan Jakobi and Pat Kilty.
