WESTFIELD – Macie Weber and Sydney Kind each had eight kills, and McKenzie Bainer had 18 assists to lead the Spencer volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Westfield in a nonconference match Thursday at Westfield High School.
Spencer won 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.
Weber added five blocks, Jenna Rogers had 15 digs, and Sadie Mercier added 10 assists for the Rockets.
“We played much better as a team tonight,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “If we clean up our errors, we will be tough to play. It was fun seeing everyone contribute.”
Spencer returns to action Sept. 10 with its Cloverbelt Conference East Division opener at home against Owen-Withee.
