ABBOTSFORD – The Auburndale volleyball team won the first two games but couldn’t hold off a resurgent Abbotsford squad and dropped a nonconference match 17-25, 18-25, 25-16, 25-11, 15-13, on Thursday night at Abbotsford High School.
Robyn Brokish led the Apaches with 14 kills and 20 digs, and Sydney Schmutzer had 24 assists in the loss.
Auburndale is back in action Tuesday with a Marawood Conference South Division meet on Tuesday at Wausau Newman Catholic.
