WAUSAU – Marshfield finished fifth at the third leg of the Wisconsin Valley Conference boys golf tournament during a rain-soaked round at the Wausau Country Club.
Joe Ritchay shot a 77 to lead Wisconsin Rapids to the team title for second straight round of the seven-leg tournament. Stevens Point’s Ryan Hofmeister shot a 79 to finish second.
Mike Field had an 85, Brandon Brown and Michael Josephson each had 88s and Jake Plank shot a 94 for Marshfield.
