LA CROSSE – Marshfield won nine out of the 11 events to defeat La Crosse Central 117-52 in a girls swimming nonconference dual meet Tuesday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Ryenne Zee (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle), Sophie Koehn (200 freestyle, 100 backstroke) and Elizabeth Holbrook (200 IM, 100 breaststroke) each won two events for the Tigers. The three also combined with Valerie Kushnir to win the 200 medley relay, and with Megan Donahue to take first in the 200 freestyle relay.
Kushnir also won the 100 butterfly for Marshfield.
The Tigers open their Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet schedule with their first home meet of the season Thursday against Merrill.
