STEVENS POINT – Another game, another win for the Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team.
The Dons scored four times in the first half on their way to a dominating 5-0 victory over Stevens Point Pacelli on Thursday night at the Portage County Youth Soccer Complex.
The win pushes Columbus Catholic to 10-0-2 overall and 7-0-2 in the Mid-State Soccer Conference. Pacelli is now 7-6-2 and 3-5 in the conference.
Farid Torbey scored a pair of goals, Nadim Torbey and Evan Dieringer added others, and a Pacelli own goal accounted for another Dons’ goal.
Calvin Brown assisted on Farid Torbey’s goal in the second half for Columbus Catholic.
Columbus outshot Pacelli 18-4, and 14-3 on goal.
The Dons host Wausau Newman Catholic at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Griese Park.
