MARATHON – The Auburndale volleyball team ended its regular season with a 3-1 win over Athens in the third-place match of the Marawood Conference North-South Crossovers on Tuesday night.
Auburndale won 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-19.
Cindy Jensen had 13 kills, Robyn Brokish added 10 kills and 15 digs, Brooke Anderson also had 15 digs, and Sydney Schmutzer had 39 assists and 11 digs for Auburndale.
The Apaches will open WIAA postseason play next Tuesday or Thursday. Pairings will be announced in the coming days.
