STRATFORD – The Stratford football team rolled to its fourth-straight win as it crushed Pittsville 48-7 in its regular-season finale on Friday night at Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers end the regular season with a 7-2 record and a 5-2 mark in the Marawood Conference, good enough for third place. Pittsville finishes 4-5 and 3-4 in the conference.
Stratford hosts Colby (4-5) in a Level 1 WIAA Division 5 playoff game Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.
Kam Bornbach had 12 rushes for 216 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead the Tigers.
Stratford rushed for 432 yards on just 37 carries (11.7 average) and held Pittsville to just 152 yards of total offense.
Cole Hoffmann, Sam Wenzel and Wyatt Ehrike added rushing touchdowns for Stratford, who led 48-0 at halftime.
