STEVENS POINT – Elizabeth Holbrook took third in the 100 breaststroke and Sophie Koehn was fourth in the 100 backstroke for Marshfield’s top finishes at the 2015 Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Swim Meet on Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Holbrook took third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.50, 6½ seconds behind winner Grace Hartman of Wisconsin Rapids.
Koehn was fourth in the 100 backstroke in 1:05.88, 4 seconds behind winner Madalyn Peterson of D.C. Everest.

Stevens Point, the regular-season dual meet conference champ, was second with 484, as Point and Everest shared the overall WVC championship. The title ends a 12-year reign by Wausau East as the Valley champs. It is the first WVC title in the sport for Everest, and Stevens Point’s first since 2000.
