HUDSON – The 2015 season came to an end for Marshfield at the WIAA Division 1 girls swimming sectional on Saturday afternoon at Hudson High School.
The winners in each event and the next 18 best times from around the state’s six Division 1 sectionals qualify for the 2015 WIAA State Girls Swimming & Diving Championships, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, at the University of Wisconsin Natatorium in Madison.
Elizabeth Holbrook had Marshfield’s top two individual finishes, taking fourth in the 200 IM (2:20.32) and sixth in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.94).
Sophie Koehn was 10th in the 100 backstroke (1:05.55) and 11th in the 200 freestyle (2:09.74), and Ryenne Zee was 14th in the 100 freestyle for other top Marshfield finishes.
The Tigers’ top relay result came in the 200 freestyle. The team of Koehn, Erika Roeglin, Holbrook and Zee took ninth in 1:50.32.
