WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team shot just 20 percent and committed 28 turnovers in a 62-23 loss to Wisconsin Rapids Assumption as part of the Cranberry Classic on Friday at Assumption High School.
The Dons (1-1) were just 7 of 35 from the field and made on 3 of 13 free throws in the loss.
Marissa Immerfall had five points and 13 rebounds, and Abby Baierl also had five points to lead Columbus Catholic.
The Dons played Nekoosa on Saturday in the third-place game. Results were not provided.
