Spencer girls basketball rolls past Granton to stay undefeated in Cloverbelt East

GRANTON – Spencer raced out to a double-digit lead in the first half and cruised to a 63-44 victory over Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Tuesday night at Granton High School.

The Rockets are now 3-1 overall and remain perfect at 3-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Granton is 0-4 overall and in the conference.

Spencer led 37-20 at halftime and remained in the lead throughout the second half.

Sydney Kind scored 17 points and Macie Weber and Lexi Baehr each added 11 for the Rockets.

Spencer’s next game is Friday at Loyal, which is tied with Spencer for first place in the conference.
