Marshfield boys basketball evens record at 3-3 with win over Mosinee

MARSHFIELD – Adam Fravert scored 16 points and hauled down 14 rebounds to lead four Marshfield players in double figures as the Tigers defeated Mosinee 74-69 on Tuesday night at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers even their record at 3-3 as they end a mini two-game losing streak. Mosinee drops to 3-2.

Tyson Slade added 15 points, and Ethan Posteluk and Alec Hinson each had 11 points for the Tigers, who scored a season-high 41 points in the first half to lead by 11 at the break.

Marshfield shot 47 percent overall and was a solid 10 of 22 (45 percent) from 3-point range.

Marshfield will host Wisconsin Rapids as part of a girls-boys doubleheader on Friday. The girls game starts at 6 p.m., with the boys to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com.
