Spencer/Columbus wrestling team uses five pins to beat Stanley-Boyd

SPENCER – Spencer/Columbus had five pins and won two others by forfeit to beat Stanley-Boyd/Thorp/Owen-Withee 45-17 in a Cloverbelt Conference wrestling dual meet on Thursday at Spencer High School.

Jake Dick (106 pounds), Tim Bauer (138), Elijah Welsh (195), Hunter Luepke (220), and Logan Zschernitz (285) won by pin for the Rockets.

Nate Neumann won a decision at 160 pounds for the Rockets.

Spencer/Columbus will compete at the Merrill Invitational on Saturday.
