MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield baseball team jumped out to a 9-0 lead and held on to an 11-8 win over Holmen in the first game of the Marshfield Baseball Tournament on Friday at Jack Hackman Field.
The Tigers won their first nonconference game of the season, improving to 5-13 overall.
Marshfield hosts River Falls at 10 a.m. on Saturday and again at 1 p.m. against Janesville Parker.
