SPENCER – The Spencer girls basketball team ended a mini two-game losing skid with a 54-43 victory over Greenwood on Tuesday night at Spencer High School.
Sydney Kind poured in 21 points, which included four 3-pointers, and Nadia King added 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting for Spencer, which improves to 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division.
Spencer led 27-22 at halftime and maintained its lead in the second half to equal its win total of a year ago, when it finished 6-17.
Spencer hosts Owen-Withee on Friday night.
