SPENCER – Owen-Withee held Spencer to 29 percent shooting and defeated the Rockets 78-52 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Friday night at Spencer High School.
The Rockets were just 18 of 62 from the field and 3 of 17 from 3-point range in the loss.
Jennifer Wendler proved tough to stop for Owen-Withee, pouring in 33 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Whitney Baehr added 13 points and 11 boards for the Blackhawks (7-4, 6-3 Cloverbelt East).
Lexi Baehr and Sydney Kind each had 10 points for Spencer (6-5, 5-4 Cloverbelt East).
Spencer plays at Auburndale on Tuesday.
