MARSHFIELD – The Neillsville softball team clinched the Cloverbelt Conference East Division championship with a 20-2 rout of Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Tuesday at the Central Wisconsin Fairgrounds.
Columbus was limited to two hits – singles by Olivia Larson and Erin Knoeck. Larson and Tori Schlagenhaft had RBIs for the Dons (5-8, 4-6 Cloverbelt East).
Cassandra Craig struck out three in two innings to earn the win. The game was shortened to three innings.
Columbus plays at doubleheader at Greenwood on Thursday and plays at Owen-Withee on Friday.
