MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield baseball team continued its late season surge, winning its fifth straight game over the last five days, beating Medford 8-3 in a nonconference game Tuesday.
The Tigers improve to 9-13 with the victory.
Marshfield stands at 5-4 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference and returns to action Thursday at Wisconsin Rapids as it hangs in the title race.
