Auburndale baseball edges Stratford

AUBURNDALE – Auburndale plated runs in the bottom of the sixth and seventh innings to edge Stratford 6-5 in a Marawood Conference South Division baseball game Friday at Auburndale High School.

Cam Ertl picked up the win for the Apaches with two scoreless innings of relief after Stratford had taken a 5-4 lead with a run in the fifth.

Ryan Isaacson had two hits, Logan Willfahrt had a hit, scored and had four stolen bases, and Colten Wright drove in two runs for Auburndale (1-1, 1-0 Marawood South).

Auburndale returns to action Tuesday at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
