MARSHFIELD – Stevens Point won 10 of the 11 events to beat Marshfield 118-52 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls swimming dual meet Tuesday at Marshfield High School.
Senior Elizabeth Holbrook grabbed Marshfield’s lone victory, taking first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.57.
Holbrook also finished second in the 200 IM in 2:27.03, and was part of the 200 medley relay team, along with Sophie Koehn, Ryenne Zee, and Megan Donahue, that was second in 2:03.36, less than one second behind the winning team from Stevens Point.
Zee was second in both the 50 freestyle (28.14) and 100 butterfly (1:07.82), and Koehn was second in the 100 freestyle (59.82) and the 100 backstroke (1:06.36) for the Tigers.
Marshfield’s next meet is a nonconference dual at home on Monday against La Crosse.
