MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield volleyball team lost for the third time in its last five matches, dropping a 3-1 decision to first-place D.C. Everest in Wisconsin Valley Conference action Thursday night at Marshfield High School.
The Tigers are now 3-3 in the Valley, while Everest remains unbeaten at 6-0. The Evergreens won 25-18, 19-25, 25-15, 25-16.
Stephanie Rhodes had 15 kills and 24 digs, and Anna Ripp added 30 assists to lead Marshfield in those categories. Alexa Aumann added 12 kills for the Tigers.
Marshfield next match is Sept. 29 at Wausau West, a team that defeated the Tigers last Saturday.
