GREENWOOD – Kendra Baierl had 20 kills, six blocks, and four service aces to help lift the Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Greenwood on Tuesday night at Greenwood High School.
The Dons won 25-18, 25-13, 25-13, to improve to 4-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division. Greenwood is now 2-1.
Columbus Catholic will take on Spencer (3-0 Cloverbelt East) at 7 p.m. Thursday at home in a battle for sole possession of first place in the conference standings.
“The girls played hard to pull out a win tonight,” Columbus coach Kat Egle said. “We served well and our defense was on, so we could run our offense.”
Sierra Litwatis had a team-high 11 digs, Natalie Pospyhalla had 18 assists, and Jennifer Reigel added 10 assists for the Dons.
