WAUSAU – The Marshfield volleyball team avenged a loss to Wausau West earlier this season with a 3-1 victory in a Wisconsin Valley Conference match Thursday night at West High School.
The Tigers won 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19, to move to 4-3 in the Wisconsin Valley. West drops to 4-3.
Stephanie Rhodes had 16 kills and 18 digs, Alexa Aumann added 14 kills, Maureen Cassidy had 17 digs, and setter Anna Ripp had 35 assists for the Tigers.
Marshfield will compete at the Neenah Invitational on Saturday.
