Stratford had three first-team picks, including South Division player of the year Keri Doll, on the all-Marawood Conference South Division softball team, which was announced this week.
Doll joins junior Hilary Belter and sophomore Rachel Ludwig on the first team for the South Division champion Tigers, who were a perfect 14-0 in conference play.
Auburndale’s Kayleigh Kundinger, a junior, was the Apaches’ lone first-team pick. Teammate Kelli Isaacson was a second-team pick, and sophomore Kari Willfahrt and Stacy Brokish were honorable mention choices.
Doll, a senior, was third in the conference in hitting with a .522 average and led the South Division in doubles with eight, was tied for the lead in RBIs with 21.
Ludwig led the South in hitting with a .577 average and in stolen bases with 15.
Belter had an earned run average of 0.89 and struck out 83 in 94 1/3 innings in conference play.
Kundinger finished fourth in hitting at .510, and Isaacson was fifth at an even .500.
Stratford had a pair of second-team picks – juniors Haley Austin and Jordyn VanDerLeest. The Tigers also had two honorable mention selections in seniors Dani Austin and Aleena Cook.
Coach Mandy Pankratz, in her first year as Stratford’s coach, was named the South Division coach of the year.
