OWEN – The Spencer baseball team survived its playoff opener, beating Cloverbelt Conference East Division rival Owen-Withee 8-6 in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal on Friday.
The Rockets (5-12) move on to play No. 1 seed Athens (12-5) in a regional semifinal at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Athens.
