BLACK RIVER FALLS – The Stratford reserve team finished third and Auburndale was fourth at the Black River Falls Invitational on Saturday at Black River Falls High School.
Nekoosa/Port Edwards won the team title, with Durand second.
Stratford had two individual champions – Trevor Dennee at 152 pounds and Ethan Fabry at 220 pounds.
Kade Ehrike was second at 170, and Devin Dennee (138), Trevor Steiner (182), and Dakota Singer (195) all placed third for the Tigers.
Dylan Baird (120) and Keller Wolfe (182) each placed second for Auburndale’s top finishes. Hunter Godard (106), Dylan Altmann (160) and James Wolfe (285) were third, and Cody Sadjik (152) finished fourth for Auburndale.
Auburndale hosts Marathon in a Marawood Conference dual meet on Thursday.
