STRATFORD – Jacob Danen scored a season-high 17 points to lift the Stratford boys basketball team to a 50-45 nonconference win over Owen-Withee on Saturday night at Stratford High School.
Brenden Fecker added 15 points, and Cole Hoffmann had 11 points and five rebounds for the Tigers, who are now 3-2 this season.
Stratford shot a solid 70 percent from the free throw line, with Fecker and Danen combining to go 10 of 15.
Stratford’s next game is next Friday at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
