STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League resumed play Sunday night with seven games in two divisions.
Here is a look at the results:
A Division
*Financial Strategies knocked off Kafka Forestry 53-47. Bryan Weichelt had 15 points for Financial Strategies, while Reed Lehman led Kafka with 14 points.
*Nutz Deep II had a league-high in points as it defeated Victory Apparel 80-61. Nate Lehman topped all scorers with 23 points for Nutz Deep. Ron Klein led Victory with 15 points.
*US Bancorp edged Prudential/Success Realty 60-59. Chris Murphy, Dodge Langreck, Conner Staab all had 12 points in a balanced attack for US Bancorp. Dan Dargenio had 18 points for Prudential.
*Smazal’s Hunter Choice beat Wick’s Auto Body 70-62. Chris Hannula had 14 points for Smazal’s. Tyler Messman had 23 points and Paul Rothmeier scored 20 for Wick’s.
B Division
*Marshfield Country Club defeated Lob City 51-44. Justin Schmoll had 15 points for MCC and Nick Stoflet topped Lob City with 17 points.
*Chaps & Friends beat LJ’s Sports Zone 72-61. Josh VanShoick had 23 points for LJ’s.
*Resource Recovery toppled Davis Auto 68-55. Derrick Schmidt had 24 points and Joel Christopherson had 20 for Resource. Kyle Davis led Davis Auto with 19 points.
