MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys basketball team outscored Eau Claire Memorial by eight points in each half to push to a 77-61 win in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Marshfield High School.
The Tigers are now 10-8 and Memorial falls to 6-10.
Four Marshfield players scored in double figures as the Tigers shot 56 percent from the field (27 of 48) and made 9 of 19 from 3-point range.
Alec Hinson hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points to lead Marshfield. He also added five rebounds and four assists in the win.
Ethan Posteluk chipped in 15 points, Reed Miller had 14, and Grant Michaelis had 13 for the Tigers.
Marshfield hosts Wausau East on Friday.
