AUBURNDALE – Five players scored in double figures as the Auburndale boys basketball team blasted Northland Lutheran 89-40 in a Marawood Conference South Division game Monday night at Auburndale High School.
Luke Olsen scored 17 points to lead the way for the Apaches, who are now 11-7 overall and 7-4 in the Marawood South. Northland Lutheran falls to 1-17 and 0-11 in conference play.
Caleb Weinfurter made four 3-pointers and scored 16 points, Cason Schmutzer and Cameron Ertl each added 12 points, and Cooper Weinfurter chipped in 11 for Auburndale.
The Apaches were 10 of 23 from 3-point range and 36 of 62 overall from the field.
Auburndale plays at Nekoosa in a nonconference game Tuesday and will wrap up its Marawood South schedule at home against Stratford on Saturday night.
