STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League continued play with seven games in two divisions on Sunday, March 19.
Four of the games were decided by eight points or less. Here’s a look at the results:
A Division
*Financial Strategies topped Victory Apparel 61-53 behind 19 points from Jake Dahlke. Bill Hanson led Victory with 16 points.
*Nutz Deep II throttled Kafka Forestry 83-58. Nate Lehman led Nutz with 27 points. Reed Lehman had 15 points for Kafka.
*Prudential/Success Realty got by Smazal’s Hunters Choice 79-71. Cain Trunkel led Prudential/Success Realty with 25 points. Chris Hannula topped Smazal’s with 20 points.
B Division
*Weiler’s C-Stores slipped past Lob City 53-49. Danny Bargender led Weiler’s and Mike Rindfleisch led Lob City with 22 points each.
*Marshfield Country Club cruised past Clyde’s Clubbers 72-42. Justin Schmoll and Chris Klimpke each had 21 points for MCC. Steve Marquardt led Clyde’s with 14 points.
*Chaps & Friends whipped Resource Recovery 71-52. Ryan Williams topped Chaps & Friends with 23 points. Joel Christopherson had 15 points for Resource Recovery.
*Davis Auto edged LJ’s Sport Zone 54-53. Dan Stelzer led Davis Auto with 24 points. Matt Lang topped LJ’s with 15 points.
