IOLA – The Auburndale softball team split a pair of games at the Iola-Scandinavia Tournament on Saturday.
The Apaches lost to host Iola-Scandinavia 16-0 and pounded Tigerton 24-6 to move to 4-3 this season.
Auburndale was held to just one hit in the loss to I-S. The Thunderbirds had seven-run first and third innings to pull away.
Against Tigerton, 12 different Apaches had at least one hit as they totaled 16 in all.
Auburndale scored at least four runs in four different innings in the victory.
Mackenzie Raab and Hannah Bolder each hit a home run, and Raab, Abby Koopman and Emma Dimick each had three RBIs for Auburndale.
Auburndale hosts Marathon on Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.
