WAUSAU – The Marshfield boys soccer team dropped a pair of games at the Wausau East Quadrangular on Saturday, losing 5-3 to Pulaski and 4-2 to Appleton Xavier.
Grant Urban, Evan Weister and Josh Gruen scored goals for the Tigers in the loss to Pulaski. Weister assisted on Gruen’s goal.
Elijah Hubler-Marti had both goals in Marshfield’s loss to Xavier.
The Tigers have lost six games in a row and are now 3-9 this season.
“Overall we continue to work hard and have significant contributions from all team members,” Marshfield coach Steve McCann said. “We have several guys banged up. I look forward to getting healthy and playing the second half of season in conference. We get to see all the teams we played again and try to make progress on how we performed in first half of season.”
Marshfield hosts Stevens Point on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Griese Park.
