RIVER FALLS – The Marshfield volleybll team’s season came to an end with a 3-0 loss at River Falls in a WIAA Division 1 regional final Saturday night.
The No. 1 seed River Falls won the match 25-17, 25-9, 25-9, to advance to a sectional semifinal Thursday against Stevens Point at D.C. Everest beginning at 5 p.m. D.C. Everest plays Eau Claire North in the other semifinal at 7 p.m., and the winners advancing to the sectional final Oct. 28 at Menomonie.
Lindsey Steffen had four kills, Corianne Johnson tallied 16 assists, and Kaydee Johnson and Jordyn Wilcott each had 16 assists for the Tigers.
