SPENCER – The Spencer girls basketball team opened its 2017-18 season with a 53-39 victory over Granton on Friday night in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Spencer High School.
Lexi Baehr scored 27 points, Aryiah Schuh added eight, and Kaily Northup had seven for Spencer.
Complete results were not provided.
Spencer is off until Nov. 28 when it plays a nonconference game at Athens.
