MERRILL – The Marshfield girls basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 59-37 victory over Merrill on Tuesday night at Merrill High School.
Four Tigers scored in double figures as they shot 55 percent (26-for-47) from the field in the victory.
Jenna Jakobi scored 20 points on 10 of 13 shooting, Katie Osinski added 15 points, Meg Bryan had 11 points, and Hannah Meverden had 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Marshfield (2-4, 1-2 Wisconsin Valley Conference).
Marshfield led 27-21 at halftime and blew the game open by doubling up the Bluejays 32-16.
Marshfield hosts Eau Claire North in a nonconference game Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
