SCHOFIELD – Marshfield managed just 12 shots on goal and were blanked by D.C. Everest 8-0 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Thursday at Greenheck Fieldhouse.
Ben Weller hit for a hat trick and J.J. Berdal had a pair of goals for the Evergreens (7-3, 2-1 Wisconsin Valley Conference).
Jakob Schmidt and A.J. Trierweiler split time in goal for Marshfield (6-7, 0-4 WVC), with Schmidt tallying 29 saves and Trierweiler seven.
Marshfield’s next game is Jan. 2 at home against Mosinee.
