AUBURNDALE – Natalie Aue had 23 points and 12 rebounds to help the Auburndale girls basketball team to a 63-24 rout of Chequamegon in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Auburndale High School.
Aue was an efficient 8 of 12 from the field, 3-for-3 with 3-point range, and 4-for-4 at the free throw line for the Apaches (9-5, 6-4 Marawood South).
Ten of the 12 Apaches that played scored in the victory. Marissa Ponshock added nine points and 10 rebounds for Auburndale.
The Apaches host Pittsville in a nonconference game Tuesday before traveling to first-place Marathon on Jan. 26.
